Our Story

The Calma Club started because I wanted to create the kind of Hindu clothing I actually wanted to wear.

Growing up, Hindu culture was a big part of life, but when it came to clothing, I rarely saw it represented in a way that felt current. A lot of what was available felt either very traditional or like merchandise. There wasn't much that I would genuinely choose as part of a normal streetwear outfit.

That's where The Calma Club came from.

The idea is to take things I grew up around Krishna, Ganesh, Hanuman, karma and other parts of Hindu culture and explore how they can exist in clothing that feels at home today.

Some pieces are loud. Some are simple. Not everything has to look the same.

The goal isn't to make Hindu culture feel more modern. It doesn't need that. It's to make clothes that let people carry a part of that culture with them without feeling like they're wearing a costume or a souvenir.

That's The Calma Club.
